Seismic brackets are required to secure Air3 Pods to the building structure and limit movement during seismic events.

Correct placement and installation is critical to protect the pod structure, glass panels, and occupants.

Seismic Bracket Locations by Pod Type

Air23 Pods

• 2 seismic brackets on front exterior corners
• 2 seismic brackets located inside the service hoop

Air25 / Air27 / Air29 Pods

• 4 seismic brackets on exterior corners
• 2 seismic brackets located inside the service hoops

Hoop Safety Bracket

The Hoop Safety Bracket anchors the pod hoop structure directly to the floor and is a primary seismic restraint component.

• Manufactured from 4 mm thick mild steel
• Painted RAL 9003 – Signal White
• Fixes inside both hoop uprights
• Secured using 6 fixings

When anchored to the floor, the bracket “arms” prevent hoop movement and stabilize the base structure of the pod.

Square Pod Floor‑Level Safety Bracket

The Square Pod Floor‑Level Safety Bracket prevents floor‑level movement at the corners of square Air3 pods.

• Manufactured from 3 mm thick mild steel
• Painted RAL 9006 – White Aluminium
• Fixes to the corner joint of the screen and door upright
• 6 fixings per bracket
• One bracket per corner on square pods

Floor‑Level Safety Bracket – LH & RH Versions

Two mirrored versions are used to support corner installation:

• AIR‑827‑01 – Left‑Hand (LH)
• AIR‑827‑02 – Right‑Hand (RH)

Critical Notes

• All required seismic brackets must be installed for full restraint
• Bracket quantity and placement varies by pod size
• Failure to install seismic brackets may lead to glass damage or structural movement
• Floor anchor fixings are site‑supplied unless otherwise specified
