Switch Button Replacement Instructions-Air3

If either the upper switch (lights and fan) or the lower switch (roof louvers) are not responding to

manual input, the problem could be the switch.

Service part#OBSYSCOM126SR-Electrical Package, Switch Side is required.

Here are the steps for replacing switch buttons:

1. Open the access door on the switch side vertical upright of the hoop with a plastic auto trim tool.  Inside, locate the white plastic box with the blue data cable plugged in the top. (See Photo 1 below) 
    
2. Open the hinged cover on the white box by carefully prying the side toward the hoop. Inside is a circuit board with two ribbons plugged in. Each ribbon is the connection point from the switch buttons. (Tip: plug each new switch into the existing circuit board to test function. Only one may need to be replaced.) (see photo #2)
3. The switch buttons are peel and stick installation.  Remove the bad switch by simply peeling it off, feed the ribbon on the replacement switch membrane through the hole in the door into circuit board box and then peel adhesive cover and stick in place.
4. OBSYSCOM126SR come as a kit, including the circuit board mounted with box and both upper and lower switches.  By testing with new switches, one or all the components can be replaced to solve the non-operational problem.
