Orangebox Air 3 Pods have been in the market and utilized by hundreds of companies throughout the US since 2017. Over time the needs of these organizations change, and so do their furniture plans.
These changes sometimes include relocating their Air3 units within the floor they are on, the building they are in, or sending them to other locations within the company. Below is a link to a PDF containing service parts for Air3. Some of these parts are necessary for the relocation and construction of a pod, and some might be needed if items get lost or misplaced during the teardown and relocation process.
The process to tear down or relocate a pod is simply to have a trained AIR3 installer follow the install instructions in reverse, making sure to keep all the hardware they remove from the pod. We also highly recommend removing the heat detector from the horizontal hoop section, as this is a common item we see getting damaged during a move.
At the beginning of the PDF the two items highlighted in yellow (Service Parts 1381775001 and 1450186001SR) will be needed for all pods being redeployed and reconstructed, while the items in blue may be needed if they are accidentally lost or misplaced. This is just a list of the most common items needed, but a full list of service parts can be accessed through the Village portal on Steelcase.com.
All the items identified in the link below are orderable though the Hedberg ordering system.
Please reach out to Orangebox with any questions regarding these service parts or any other part questions you might have.
