The Seismic Bolt‑Down Kit includes pod safety brackets only. Floor anchor fixings are NOT included and must be supplied by the site contractor.
Correct installation is critical to prevent movement, protect glass components, and maintain product safety compliance.
Tools Required
- Drill with Phillips drill bit
- No. 4 “T” Bar
- No. 2.5 “T” Bar
Seismic Bracket Installation Sequence
1. Hoop Safety Bracket
- Install once the hoop has been positioned and aligned correctly
- Secure the bracket into the floor
- The hoop is the primary structural element and must not move
⚠️ Ensure correct alignment before anchoring.
2. Straight Pod Floor‑Level Safety Brackets
- Install after screens and front/rear assemblies are built and aligned
- Prevents floor‑level movement of front and rear glass assemblies
- Critical for protecting glass panels
Installation Details:
- Fit brackets into hoop uprights as shown
- Rear face flat against back
- Bottom face flat against floor cover
- Fix using 6 × M4 × 8 screws (SYS‑FIX‑042)
- Secure using M6 × 8 screws (SYS‑FIX‑066)
Note: Floor anchor fixings must be supplied by the site contractor.
3. Modification to Bottom Panel Clips
- Required after installing floor‑level safety brackets
- Floor brackets occupy the same position as bottom corner panel clips
Modification Steps:
- Slide out affected bottom panel clips
- Trim back approximately halfway
- Slide clips back into the upholstery panel
Quantity: 8 trims per pod
4. Roof Safety Brackets
- Install only after roof panels are fully mounted and operating smoothly
- Prevents upward or lateral movement of roof panels
Installation Notes:
- Position brackets on the hoop as shown
Fix using self‑drilling screws provided (SYS‑FIX‑091)
5. Top Track Glass Safety Stop
- Install during front and rear frame assembly
- Prevents lateral glass movement
- Provides seismic restraint
Installation:
- Slide stop into the top track channel before installation
- Once glass is installed, push block against glass
- Tighten grub screw (SYS‑FIX‑025)
6. Bottom Track Glass Safety Stop
- Installed during front and rear frame assembly
- Secures glass panels at the base
Installation:
- Slide stop into interior channel of bottom track
- After glass installation, push against glass
- Tighten grub screw (SYS‑FIX‑025)
Critical Notes
- All seismic brackets must be installed for full restraint
- Do not anchor components until alignment is verified
- Glass protection depends on correct bracket installation
- Failure to install seismic components may result in damage or injury
