Additional Assembly Instructions Unique to Air23

To begin, refer to the Air3 installation videos and written instructions.   Using the videos and written instructions as a base, this article adds specific instructions for the Air23.

• Assemble the hoop, making all the wired connections and install the heat detector.(see step 2 video)
• Stand up the hoop and attach both left and right screens. (see step 3 video)  If the pod has an over the fabric monitor bracket, that screen will attach to the power side of the hoop.  If the pod has a whiteboard, that screen attaches to the switch side of the hoop.
• Remove the grey seals from each vertical hoop that faces the rear glass frame.

• Open the 1/2 pod kit and locate the 6 enclosed bolts.
• Assemble the rear glass frame and attach to the hoop using the longer bolts from the 1/2 pod kit.  The inner slots of the rear glass frame will line up on the hoop.

• Cut the left & right bung so they will fit against the hoop.

• Install front glass frame, fan unit, actuators and roof sections as normal. (see step 5-8 videos)
• Install drive arms on actuators using special hardware. (included with actuator)

• Install grey seal from 1/2 pod kit to close the gap between the rear glass frame and the hoop.

• Install corner caps from the 1/2 pod kit with adhesive tape.

1/2 pod kit contains 6 longer screws, grey seal, 2 corner caps with adhesive tape.
